Angel Of The Week
Israfel

Israfel is a new Angel to most people. She is both an Angel of Resurrection and of Song. Israfel paved the way for Gabriel by serving for three years as a companion to Mohammed, whom he'd led into the work of being a prophet.
When we are trying to make something, or to resurrect something, we can call on Israfel. If we find ourselves bursting into song, we can realize that Israfel is at work in our lives.
You may have never heard of Israfel, but you may have experienced her. Edgar Allan Poe must have as he footnoted a poem with reference to "the Angel Israfel, whose heart strings are a lute, and who has the sweetest voice of all God's creatures." ^j^
