Raphael's name means *God Has Healed.* Raphael is the
guardian of our physical bodies and of healing. He is associated
with the color red. Raphael's domain is the house of growth and
transformation.
Raphael is probably the most endearing of all the angels. He was
continually noted throughout history, and was one of the
most frequently depicted Angels in Western art. His image
is featured on Rembrandt canvases.
Some of his feats were: * He healed the pain of circumcision
for Abraham * He was sent by God to cure Jacob's thigh after
he'd been roughed up * He gave Noah the "medical book"
after the flood. * Raphael delivered the gift of a magic ring
to Solomon when he prayed to God for aid in building the great
temple in Jerusalem.
Raphael is the high Archangel charged with healing the Earth.
He is here to serve. Call on him.
