I truly feel I have been touched by an Angel many times in my life. Below is one way my Guardian Angel, as well as other Heavenly Angels, have entered my life and my thoughts . . .

Have you ever been doing something you have been scared to death of, like flying. Your hands are glued to the arms of the seats, your legs are crossed so tightly, you'll never get them unwound, and you've got to go to the bathroom, but you know you'll never make it down that long isle.

Suddenly, a nice grandma type lady sits next to you and starts talking. She mentions her sweet little grandchildren, pulls out a zillion pictures from her wallet, and just like that you are engrossed in family antics that soon have you laughing.

Without you even realizing it, your heart has stopped pounding the walls in your chest, your muscles have relaxed, and your palms stopped sweating. You've even forgotten you had to go to the bathroom. What happened? Did an Angel call on you in the guise of one of that doting grandmother?

Have you ever had to spend the night alone and you were so scared you couldn't get out of bed? Then, the phone rings right by the side of the bed, and its a friend who knew it was late, but she just wanted to check up on you.

Gradually, your mind eases, and your body feels at peace. Your muscles, that had been almost too tight to let you move, relax. You hang up, and you fall asleep. What happened? Did an Angel call on you in the guise of a friend?

Have you ever gone to the dentist and your hands gripped each other in your lap, your teeth were locked so tight you were afraid when he finally came in to work on you, you wouldn't be able to open your mouth. Were the muscles in your legs so tight that only your heels were touching the dentist's chair? Then, the dentist's assistant comes in and smiles at you. You realize that the dentist's assistant's eyes twinkle just like your best friend's. You find that the voice even sounds like your friend's.

Gradually, your body lowers itself to the chair. Your hands lose their death-grip on each other, and you even start to smile. What happened? Did an Angel call on you in the guise of a dental assistant?

Look around. Your Angels are closer than you think. They know that something wonderful is going to happen to you. Don't you think it's about time you learned that too? Learn life, live life, love life. Your Angel is right there with you. Helping you learn. Live. Love. ^j^
